Throughout the school year, Skolengo's teams have been developing new features in the Teaching, Communication, Schooling and Administrator & Finance modules, in response to user feedback, to optimize the platform and provide you with the best possible support in carrying out your missions.
Communication module: contact legal guardians by SMS from the Schooling Dashboard
School staff can nowcontact legal guardians by SMS(or via ENT Mailbox if they have not agreed to receive SMS notifications).
The Schooling Dashboard features a wide range ofnumerous filtersExamples: no bus service (sent to all guardians), no lunch service (sent only to guardians of half-boarders)...
The sender can use an existing SMS template or write his own. You can also receive a summary of your SMS messages in your Mailbox.
This feature is available if the School has SMS credit.
Collaborative module: Focus on new tools to facilitate remote or face-to-face exchanges
Easily organize your face-to-face or remote meetings in your Agenda
Each user (except "Student" and "Parent" profiles) cancreate (Shared) events from their Personal agenda. Guests receive notifications via the ENT Mailbox, and the event appears in their agenda.If theSkolengo Visioservice is activated, the "Videoconference" option can be tickedwhen adding or modifying the event in the Agenda.
Develop collaborative exchanges with Word, Excel and PowerPoint tools
Users cancreate and edit collaborative files in Shared folders according to their rights and roles. Only users with access to these files can view and edit them.view and edit them. Let's take the example of a play written by several students. Some students may be writers, while others may be readers.
Teaching module: optimizing the media center and work to do services
Mediacentre service now available to schools
Schools using Skolengo Primary now have the same access to Resources in the GAR(Resource Access Administrator) resources in the same way as Secondary schools and High schools using Skolengo.
With the newmédiacentre serviceMediacentre service, schools can now allocate Educational resources to teachers, classes, students... Users can access their resources directly from the Mediacentre service.
Send individual corrected assignments directly from the "Work to do" service.
The "Work to do" service already enabled teachers to Deliver individual corrected assignments for each Student.
It is now possible for Teachers tochoose to directly distribute the Individual corrected assignmentas soon as the Student's work is received, and to allow the Student toallow the Student to submit new work.
Students see their new work to do on their Home page. They can modify their delivered work while consulting their teacher's Corrected assignment.
From now on, ENT will enable you to create and manage long-term replacements directly via the new "Long-term replacements" tab.
In the "Absence(s)" tab, replacements already createdfor the period of the Teacher's absence can be viewed, and it is possible to create a replacement for the Teacher's absence.
Schooling module: new function for managing students on secondment
For EDT 2020 users, Skolengo integrates the "Detach a Student from Class for a priority activity" feature. (e.g. management of ULIS students). All users concerned (detached students, teachers, etc.) see the "Priority" label appear on the courses concerned in their Organiser.
The Administrator & Finance module: focus on developments in registration and bill payment
Optimization of pre-registration and re-registration services
Several enhancements are available: families can now upload a photo of the pre-registrant, the pre-registration file can be deleted, it is easier to configure and open the Field pre-registration (e.g. international section), and the closing message sent to parents can be customized.
The School can now offer parents the possibility parents the option of paying pay their bill online in instalments. Once payment has been made, parents receive an email notification.
