Skolengo offers the Educational community an easy-to-use Videoconference service. This tool offers a host of features to facilitate day-to-day exchanges between the School, Teachers, Families and Students.

During periods of distance learning, the Videoconference service was a real asset in ensuring teaching continuity. It also has many advantages throughout the school year, outside distance learning periods, for developing communication and collaborative exchanges within the Educational community.

Videoconferencing makes meetings easier for the Educational community

The Videoconference allows Teachers to simplify themeetings with parents. For example if parents find it difficult to make themselves available during the day due to work commitments, the teacher can suggest that they organize a Videoconference at the end of the day. Alternatively, if the parents are separated and one of them lives in another Region, he or she can take part in the exchanges with the teachers. Thanks to Videoconferencing, theschedule and distance are no longer a barrier to arranging a meeting, and this tool can help strengthen ties with families.

School staff meetings can be organized more flexibly with Videoconference. The organizational constraints linked to attendance and Course(s) schedules disappear.. Meetings can be held hybrid, combining face-to-face and distance learning. Teachers are not obliged to be in the School to take part in the meeting, as they would for a Class councils, for example. For example, a Latin teacher with only 3 students in a class could follow the Class councils remotely.

Videoconferencing for the success of every Student

Here are 3 examples of how Videoconference can help students succeed:

  • Distance learning students
The Videoconference service is a tool that makes it possible toensure Teaching continuity when a Student is unable to attend classes in person. For example, when a Child is hospitalized or convalescing, it's possible for him or her to follow courses remotely and keep in touch with other Students and their Teacher via Videoconference.
  • A different way to learn a foreign language

Videoconferencing is also a tool designed to support student learning. For example, to develop language skills, teachers can pair up their class with another class abroad, so that students can correspond with each other. With Videoconference, students can exchange "live" with native speakers of the foreign language they are learning.

  • Oral training for Students

Last but not least, this service can be used to organize one-off meetings with students, for example, to organize a rehearsal for the oral exam for the baccalauréat outside class hours, or to easily communicate with a student who is on an internship.
