Who can send SMS messages?

Only Users with the right to "contact managers by SMS" can send SMS messages. By default, this right is assigned to the School principal, but it can also be assigned to another user such as a Teacher by the Administrator.

To be able to send SMS messages, you must have SMS credit in your ENT. To do this, you need to order SMS messages. As a Primary school, Consult your local town hall to order SMS credits for you..

SMS dispatch tracking

You can also track the various SMS messages sent to parents from the Student record.
Access to this tool is controlled by a new "Consult sent SMS" role. This role can be assigned to the "School Principal" and "Parent" profiles.
