Each user has a portfolio amongst their personal services. Zoom on this key service of the EMS that allows them to access all their files at any time and in a secure fashion, from whatever device uses and wherever they are found.

What is a portfolio?

The portfolio is a service accessible in all personal services of the EMS.
Everyone thus has a virtual, secure USB key, extended to on-line storage services (Cloud).

The portfolio provides permanent access (on simple connection to Internet) to all files and personal documents, that are stored.

  • In the EMS;
  • On the local network of the school (Webdav standard);
  • In personal external spaces (Dropbox, oneDrive, GoogleDrive, etc. accounts).*

All file formats are accepted in the portfolio.

When and how to use the portfolio?

Particularly useful for teachers and students in the framework of documents to attach for work to do and to deliver, the portfolio also has many advantages for all personnel of the school.

Here are several advantages of usage cases using the service:
  • Quickly and easily incorporate an attached document into a message or into an article;
  • You have begun to write a document in the school: save it in your portfolio and continue writing it at home (and vice-versa);
  • Feed your blog articles and shared folders in several clicks
  • (for example, save photos taken with your smartphone, in you portfolio to reuse them in your content in the EMS).
  • Teachers: quickly and easily incorporate an attached document into the announcement of work-to-do
  • (e.g. a photo stored on your OneDrive account) before distributing it in the EMS.
  • Students: recover your homework saved in your external spaces (e.g. a Word document stored on your Google Drive account) to deliver it via the EMS;
  • Etc.

*External spaces possible to add to the portfolio can vary from one EMS project to another.
